October 2007: Art Workshop!

I lead another art workshop at Infusion Campus (Springfield, Ohio) in October. The theme for the quarter was "rainforests," and I lead the kids in a project that incorporated cubism and the relationship between color and emotion. Each participant chose one color that he thought best represented the emotion of his picture. We began the session with a reading of the Dr. Seuss classic My Many Colored Days, which was well-recieved. Everyone, myself included, seemed to have a good time, and the kids created some nice artwork. :)
